Are there any tactics ?
Are there any players capable of playing in their own position?
Any actual formation?

Again it’s defend defend defend
Punt it up field
Defend defend concede

What a steaming pile of sh*te side we have accumulated...

Can't defend, can't attack, almost every player out of their depth...

Bravo Luke Dowling, Bravo. £30m spent on Grady and Grant yet still have Sawyers starting games in a defensive midfield role. Still have Furlong starting, who wasn't even good in the lower division.

Oh and despite the outlay on offensive players - completely neglecting the fact we couldn't keep a clean sheet in the lower league - we never look like scoring.

Who on earth identified what we needed in the summer? What an absolute joke.

Then on to what Big Sam can do better, well he can get the lads can play 10 yards further up the pitch at least....

Why on earth is O'Shea defending a shot from outside the area on the edge of his 6 yard box? How are you going to engage the opposition when you are 15 yards too deep.

If only we could make 5 or 6 subs. We need all of the big lads on - Austin, Ivanovic and Kipre - to give us any chance of scoring, because we're never going to score from open play with how poorly we pass and move. We also need Pereira on as he's the only bloke who can pass a ball.

As the game is dead, we might as well see Kipre now. Let's see Ajayi in midfield to see if that helps, as we're drastically short of legs. Sawyers time is up I'm afraid.

As painful as it is to watch, there’s actually some karma in there for the disgraceful treatment of Slaven Bilic.
I won’t feel the least bit sorry for Allardyce and I doubt very much he’ll care that much anyway.

RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - baggietrousers - 29-12-2020

Oh f#$k off Allardyce!!!! How can you possibly leave Sawyers on the pitch. You absolute excuse of a coach.

RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - Salopbaggie - 29-12-2020

How can he leave MP on the bench while taking off another forward player and replacing them with a centre-back

RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - baggietrousers - 29-12-2020

Because he doesn't know what he's doing Salop!!!!

RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - Baggie_One - 29-12-2020

And there is 5
Quality goal
Simple passing

RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - Borders Baggie - 29-12-2020

Gallagher and O’Shea caught out and they play round them like they’re not there.
But Sawyers will get the blame!!!

Having tuned in to see how we were doing at half time, expecting maybe a 1-0 lead after the gritty performance last time out, when i see we were 4-0 down, I tuned out.

I mean how is that possible after Liverpool, can anyone tell me? Confused Also Birmingham 4-0 down Confused

It looks like the dads are playing the primary school kids and being mean.
