Plenty of course form here on a course which favours the bombers, particularly those who can hit the ball in windy conditions.
Speith is the favourite at 8/1, followed by Dustin Johnson, Kuchar & Garcia. Hard to go with Speith at that price although he will surely get back to his best sooner rather than later. Dustin is well suited by this course but I cannot go with 8/1 about a player with one win in three years. Kuchar & Garcia are players that I avoid so we can look at better priced players to take on the favourites.
Charley Hoffman 28/1
Won the Texas Open last month which shows a liking for playing in this area and also that he is in form. He was second here last year so clearly likes the course. Looks great value at the price.
Marc Leishman 33/1
A big hitter who should be suited by this course where he has two top three finishes. If he can put four decent rounds together, he could go close.
Danny Lee 60/1
Lee has home course advantage as he is based at this course. Looked to be finding his form with a tied 9th finish at the Wells Fargo earlier this month so could just fall in line for him at a decent price.
Going for Scott Piercy at 50/1 for FRL. He has shot a first round 66 three times here.

Danny Willett leads by two on -7 from McIlroy. On the evidence of today's play, Willettt should win this in a canter but at 2/1 now, I can't get involved.

Sergio Garcia, Danny Lee & Johnson Wagner lead the way on -7 by one shot from Dustin Johnson, Jordan Speith, Freddie Jacobson & Tom Hoge. Great that Danny Lee is leading the way for us but Hoffman & Leishman need to pick up a bit. Other Notables: Kuchar -5, Poulter -3, Schwartzel -2, Zach Johnson -2, Oosthuizen +3.

Willett & Warren lead by one on -8 from McIlroy with the rest having plenty of work to do. The players that teed off early yesterday & late today had the worst of the weather both days so were effectively out of it before they started (15 of the top 17 were late starters on Day One). It is probably between the top three now and I favour Willett although he was not quite at it today.

Ben Crane leads on -12 by one from Koepka, Speith, Cauley & Garcia in an open contest. Lee & Hoffman are well placed but need to move closer today. A mixed day for the big names with Speith & Garcia right up there but others doing less well: Dustin -8, Kuchar -8, Schwartzel -5, Zach Johnson -2, Henry -2, Walker -2, DeChambeau MC, Snedeker MC, Poulter MC, Oosthuizen MC, Bradley MC, Els MC

McIlroy hung on to win by three on -12 from Dredge & Knox as each of the challengers fell away on the final round. RCB & Olesen gave us good runs and Matt Southgate might be a name to look for in the future on the evidence of his 4th place here.

It seemed like no-one wanted to win it as players gave it away, most noticeably Koepka, who missed a putt on the 18th for the win then drove into the lake in the Playoff to present Garcia with the title. Our guys gave us a good run but came up a few shots short.
