Can't see us spending around £7M on a centre back unless JP is planning on spending around £20M+ during the summer Full backs & wingers will be top of the list surely

Maybe we'll be playing with 5 CBs next year. Build up slowly to 11.

Is that tongue in cheek, Baggievicar, or do we take it you're not a TP fan?

On a slightly seperate tack and not aimed at you, vicar, predictions, please, for when we see the first transfer window comment suggesting either or all of the following:-

We've got countless millions in the bank
We should spend at least £50million.
If we haven't got countless millions in the bank, JP has trousered it.
JP is a miser.
TP buying is poor.
We've no ambition.
We've left it too late.

I can't wait to see the usual rubbish of people getting so excited over a possible signing having seen a 2 minute YouTube video then going into meltdown when said shite player doesn't sign ie Riviere! Smartass

Yes, that's a biggie I missed Tom. Believing every media-led rumour of players we're supposed to be pursuing then holding it against the Club when nothing happens.

Totally agree Tom.  You can't help but hope that during the interview process JP has said keep us up and you will get new players.

TP is not going to be walked over by JP or anyone else over the players who he "realistically" wants!.

Still a while away yet but has anyone got any gut feeling picks of who we'll sign/try to sign over the summer?
I'm going to throw Michu's name into the mix! currently on loan at Napoli and hasn't figured really all season (though he has had a injury as well) i think he's the sort of player Tony Pulis would like at the club Tall,Strong,Good in the air,Scores goals wouldn't be surprised to see us linked with him depending on how his situation at Swansea pans out

I was thinking of him the other day, Tom, and couldn't remember what happened to him. How come Swans let him go? - because he was shithot only a couple of years ago.
