Playing 5 aside with the rest of the squad. DM has a problem, if he signs them he will be a laughing stock? If he doesn't and we need them through injury / suspension he we will be slaughtered. Tough being a football manager LMAO. He should have kept the training quiet. We're normally good at keeping secrets !!! odd how we made this public knowledge?

No mention in the transfers either, so they are either still debating or been given a no-no.

West Bromwich Albion are set to sign Wes Hoolahan on a free transfer, according to reports.

Football Insider reports that Baggies boss Darren Moore has turned to the 36-year-old as he looks to bolster his attacking midfield options.

The former Norwich City man will undergo a medical today ahead of signing a short-term deal at The Hawthorns.

Big Darren, gets a freebie. Lets not get to excited. Does this put him ahead of Barnes / Mozza / Field / Edwards / Harper?
DM will soon find some voices of discontent from the fans and fringe players. If he was going to do this he should have done it months ago. Typical who can we get for nowt signing, after selling Chadli for £10 million???
When are we getting the £8 million back we wasted on the Chinese player who went out on loan. Or did Lai just pocket the transfer fee???

Well I suppose you can pick up bargains and they’ll do a great job for you. But is not the stuff of dreams that we all had in mind.

If we field our best team these additions will not be seen. If we get serious injuries (7 games in October) they’ll have been a great decision.

In a way it makes perfect sense. But I would have preferred to buy a quality player and push one of our current first team players down to the bench.

Wondering if you lot have stumbled over this article makes some interesting reading!

STUART MILLAR urged West Brom to buy Virgil van Dijk from Celtic — then quit as scout when his plea was ignored.

But the Scot is having the last laugh now as the Dutch defender, who Liverpool paid £75million this year, goes from strength to strength.

We're having the last laugh, Turkey. We got Bartley for peanuts, and he must be worth more than 75.

(Sorry.....that's 75 thousand. Blush )
