The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - consilio - 01-07-2015 Chris Wood to Leeds on 4yr deal. A much better front man than Nuhiu. He's a great signing for them RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Owlkev71 - 01-07-2015 Transfer window officially opened today. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Southeyowl - 01-07-2015 (01-07-2015, 11:07)consilio Wrote: Chris Wood to Leeds on 4yr deal. By all accounts Wood's representatives spoke to us and Wolves, but steered their client to Weeds! He's gone for the money and nothing else! RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - madsteve - 01-07-2015 Think Wood is over rated. 14 goals in 61 matches over two years is hardly outstanding. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Imre varadi - 01-07-2015 yep woods never impressed me !! i still think may and possibly bus are the way forward with laverey tucked behind !! afterall we are now going to play attacking aggresive attractive football !! so whens nuhui leaving then ? RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - consilio - 01-07-2015 Wood has been stop/start and never a settled regular. He will be in the top 5 goalscorers next season RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - madsteve - 01-07-2015 (01-07-2015, 14:32)consilio Wrote: Wood has been stop/start and never a settled regular. Not totally convinced. His best spells have been while on loan. He has rarely done well for his parent club. Since moving to England, his record for his parent clubs has been 13 goals from 73 matches in six years (goal every 5.6 matches). On loan, he has done better with 33 goals from 158 matches (goal every 4.8 matches). This isn't much better than the records of Nuhiu & May. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - consilio - 01-07-2015 Wednesday eye Portugal young-stars Sheffield Wednesday's new coach Carlos Carvalhal is lining up two players from his native Portugal to join him at Hillsborough. Carvalhal wants to sign Portuguese U21 winger Ricardo of Porto, on loan. And he is also targeting Victor Goncalves,23, who is a midfielder at Gil Vicente and a former Portuguese U21 international. |
