RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 22) - Transfer Window - Baggiebob(BBB) - 24-01-2020 (24-01-2020, 14:40)Beefy 1965 Wrote: Quotes here from Bilic after it was confirmed Grady Diangana will remain on loan at The Hawthorns this season while Dara O'Shea has also agreed a new long-term deal https://t.co/Wd8cNlBrhi #wba Perhaps his being unfit was the reason his club didn't want him back? How long is he out for? RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 22) - Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 26-01-2020 Now that`s rich,,,,,, Spuds complaining about a transfer approach for one of their players. Pot Kettle Black methinks. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51250282 DD ![]() ![]() RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 27) - Transfer Window - wba13 - 27-01-2020 Callum Robinson of Sheffield United who we were linked with in the summer is back on the radar, according to Nixon of the sun. Down the pecking order at Sheffield Utd and is a player Bilic wanted from Preston but the lure of the premier swung him to Sheffield Utd. Could be a a good shout. Calum Morton has gone on loan to Northampton town. Good luck Calum. Kane Wilson is staying at Tranmere on loan for rest of season good Luke Kane. RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 27) - Transfer Window - Beefy 1965 - 27-01-2020 #WBA Talks between West Brom and Dinamo Zagreb over Mislav Orsic have reportedly stalled. ![]() Albion are now looking to sign Callum Robinson instead. [via Daily Mail] https://t.co/vpvrzAKdSx RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 27) - Transfer Window - wba1978 - 28-01-2020 Hopefully Robinson is a decent championship player, but from what iv'e seen of him playing for the Blades in the prem, he looks completely out of his depth. RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 27) - Transfer Window - Beefy 1965 - 28-01-2020 (28-01-2020, 00:28)wba1978 Wrote: Hopefully Robinson is a decent championship player, 13 goals in 28 in the championship for Preston last season ![]() Transfer update. Albion are closing in on Callum Robinson with the player at the club's training ground today. There's still interest in Mislav Orsic but Bilic also keen on another forward. Palace also ready to bid for Ferguson. Details here: https://t.co/q0OS9Vla7L #wba RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 27) - Transfer Window - wba1978 - 28-01-2020 (28-01-2020, 01:33)Beefy 1965 Wrote:(28-01-2020, 00:28)wba1978 Wrote: Hopefully Robinson is a decent championship player, Glad to hear that Beefy... I think he is used as a striker predominantly by the Blades, and the whole formation is quite narrow under Wilder with 3 at the back and wing backs supplementing the wide positions. He struggled back to goal/holding it up. More of a running the channels type of player. Hopefully he is deployed as a winger with us (if signed), as Imho he's maybe not the solution to our striking problems... ![]() RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 27) - Transfer Window - Blue Baggie - 28-01-2020 Am I going mad, our ability to score goals does not need work, it's our conceding that's out issue. We need a defensive combative midfielder who can tackle and break down attacking threats, support our defence and work box to box, motivating those around him. Where do any of our so called targets fit in? And as for Robinson he's no better then what we have already got. Actually his goals per game this season is worse then any forward we have. Our ambition is matched by our spending "ZERO" RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 27) - Transfer Window - wba13 - 28-01-2020 Sorry to disagree blue but we need a Calum Robinson type player as we are struggling co create goals at present . We do not have the striker with pace to run in behind on to balls from Diangana and pereira. I think Robinson will have a free reign up front to drag the centre half’s out which will creat space through the centre. You must remember Robinson was the player we were after before we bought in Austin and Zohore so Bilic must believe he can do a job for us. Livermore has been great for us this season as the box to box player , it has been individual mistakes that has cost us. Cut out the mistakes and we will start winning again.
