RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (10 August) - Beefy 1965 - 14-08-2017 (14-08-2017, 21:44)Dingle-Dingle Wrote: Pulis is said to be hoping to make two more signings before Saturday’s game away at Burnley, regardless of whether Chadli leaves or not. Wants 5 in total so IF we get two more, then I suggest 3 to follow ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (10 August) - Dingle-Dingle - 14-08-2017 (14-08-2017, 21:50)Beefy 1965 Wrote:(14-08-2017, 21:44)Dingle-Dingle Wrote: Pulis is said to be hoping to make two more signings before Saturday’s game away at Burnley, regardless of whether Chadli leaves or not. But what about the 14 who are leaving?? DD ![]() ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (10 August) - Beefy 1965 - 14-08-2017 Well bringing down the age of our squad helps ![]() You will have to trust me on this one as a ITK posted that Barry yes barry at 36 will sign shortly ![]() So no link, just wait to see how reliable he is ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (10 August) - Baggie_One - 15-08-2017 Barrrrrrrry from Eastenders http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/west-brom-albion/transfer-talk/news/gareth-barry-to-join-west-brom_304922.html RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (10 August) - 4evaabaggie - 15-08-2017 Great ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (10 August) - Stairs - 15-08-2017 I have no problem with Barry. It's all about now and this season at the moment and he will do a very good job. We might yet buy people before end of month that add further excitement eg Kone etc. Stay chilled guys. Have faith. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (10 August) - Beefy 1965 - 15-08-2017 (14-08-2017, 21:19)Beefy 1965 Wrote: Tomorrow ..Barry ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (10 August) - BaggieSteve - 15-08-2017 "Gareth Barry undergoing a medical at West Brom". I wonder if the medical tests include carbon dating. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (10 August) - 4evaabaggie - 15-08-2017 Stairs, love your optimism, but mine is running thin, for the last few years we have been saying yeah barry or Smith or Jones will do for a year or two, next year we will rebuild the squad for the future. But our squad is getting older and older, I, for one, am fed up with stop gaps, sticking our fingers in dykes, temporary measures, it is time for a long term plan, bring in players for now and a few years, youngsters who can do the job and grow into the squad of the future. Stop retiring a 37 year old and bringing in a 35 year old ....... short sighted and a dangerous game. To be stable and established we need a rolling programme of recruitment, retention and release ...... Rant over .... Come on you Baggies!!!!!! Maybe not all bad, one year deal, things to prove?, big name might attract other names ........ keep stretching for those straws ........ might get to clutch one.
