RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (17th Aug) - Bournemouth Baggie - 18-08-2015 Poco played for U21s yesterday against Sham. Would suggest (?) he is not completely out of favour? Nabi scored again, if Saido goes I want to see him used a lot more RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (17th Aug) - Dingle-Dingle - 18-08-2015 Newcastle have pulled out of the running for QPR striker Charlie Austin, 26, with the Championship club holding out for a £15m fee. (Newcastle Chronicle) Austin could be on the move, though, with West Ham keen to sign the former Burnley and Swindon striker. (Evening Standard) West Bromwich Albion have made a £5m bid for Tottenham's Argentina defender Federico Fazio, 28, which leaves questions over 33-year-old Joleon Lescott's future at the Hawthorns. I doubt he will ever play for us again, sadly. RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (17th Aug) - aries22 - 18-08-2015 Spurs have bid £15 million (not confirmed) for Saido Berahino, Albion have turned it down (club statement). RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (17th Aug) - wba_1996 - 18-08-2015 Sterling - £49m Shaw - £30m Stones - £30m rejected There is no way Saido will go for a penny under £25m, personally I think Peace will be looking at £30m+. A centre-half who can play left back, another to play on the right wing and a midfield centre half as a destroyer. It wouldn't surprise me if he found a centre half who can play in goal ! Doesn't bode well does it. You obviously have not heard about TP's master plan. He intends to have 7 CB's for their height stand them all on the goal line so no need for a keeper 2 defensive midfielders to hoof the ball to the two strikers and occasionally we might get a shot on target, even more occasionally a goal ![]() RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (17th Aug) - BaggyBomber - 18-08-2015 (18-08-2015, 17:47)TheBaggieMan Wrote: I think the anti-Christ of football will buy more centre halves. Baggy, you really don't like it if someone's opinion differs to your own do you? |
