Helan was what we needed at the time but we are moving forward faster than he is. He has never really let us down & has proved to be a decent substitute and let's not forget his part in that win against Arsenal when he replaced FF.

I have felt for a while that he is like a better & faster version of Tommy Spurr but (like Spurr) never improved his weak right foot that could have lifted him to another level. I suspect his S6 days are over but there should be no ill feeling towards him as he has always given his best during a period of transition.

There were two or three spells during his time where it looked as though he had turned a corner and could maybe improve enough to push for a place on the left side of midfield, but like most of his time with us he was not able to consistency produce this form. I think he is probably good enough, and young enough for the bottom half of the Championship and could probably push a league one team to promotion!!

Helan has been let down (as have others) by the poor coaching at S6. No-one has really improved through the coaching of the last couple of years until this season. Helan has been a victim of that era and maybe if he was joining now, he would do much better. I would much rather have him as a substitute option than Sougou.

Claude Dielna has joined Slovan Bratislava on loan until the end of the season.

And so another one goes out of the door. Never looked like establishing himself and can't see him being missed. Good luck to him though, hope he has a good remainder of his career.
