Is that Stoke or Albania, silver?  Blush

Sorry Silver, but that'd make a great twinning wouldn't it - "Stoke - twinned with Albania".

Can't see anything at all regarding Charlie Austin going to Bournemouth - have I missed something??

An observation on Twitter which made me chuckle: "Xherdan Shaquiri signs for Stoke, thus becoming the only person ever born in Albania to end up somewhere worse."

Steady on lads....  your beloved Baggieman lives only 15 miles north of Sjoke and you would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful location in the Midlands than the Staffordshire Moorlands.

It must also be 'have a go at Silver' time as, not only do I have long lost relatives in the Stoke area but I'm also a retired Bank Manager.

Think I'll emigrate to Albania!

I'm sure the moorlands and retired bank managers are both things of unutterable beauty - it was more the concept of the football club.
Peace and love. Peace dove

Tottenham have signed Cameroon international striker Clinton N'Jie from French club Lyon.
The 22-year-old, who is on a five-year contract at White Hart Lane until 2020, said: "I'm ready to give my best to help the club achieve its aims."

Let's hope that cools them off re Saido.

Several sources now suggesting that Spurs will offer £20m for Berahino this week and, more surprisingly that he has already been offered a £100K per week contract. Surely he's not even allowed to talk to another club at this stage!

As for Joey Barton, all I can say is they didn't ask me and, I suspect not many, if any of the contributors on here were canvassed either.

Hopefully, just more lazy journalism. Angry
