Josh - we have been struggling for weeks, 3 at the back has not worked at all. Darren has failed to change anything.
He has proved he's not capable, our FT signings in the summer were poor at best. Our best players are on loan and we cant afford to sign them. We need to change Darren - we love him, but he has had his chance and blown it. We as a club are always guilty of hanging on to managers for far too long. Darren is not the man to rebuild the team and get us back in the PL.

Subs were atrocious. Gayle injured bring on sako! Surely if he is fit enough to be on bench he has 45 minutes in his locker! HRK only excels at falling over, his lack of quality is the sole reason Rodriguez hasn't been dropped. Why not put Brunt at left back and bring Morrison on? Another stupid sub. Then eventually when we do have to take Phillips off we could perhaps get hoolahan into the game too.
The result has been coming for a while we have bullied some of the poorer sides at home but we have had a fair chunk of luck- 4 pens have been saved or missed against us. We're persisting with a system we don't really have the personnel for. We need some serious changes Saturday. That was embarrassing '!
Goals conceded: 20th out of 24 teams !!!!!
Darren Moore labels the game bizarre. He refers to J-Rod's gifting Derby a goal a slight mistake.
Sky pundits making the valid point our central midfield, Brunt and Field do not show for the ball when the defence have it.

Although this score was embarrassing, might I remind everyone that only 8 points separate the top team from Villa in 18th position.
Now this is a dog eats dog division, and therefore we can expect we'll do the same to Leeds (just saying) so shouldn't be too concerned.
However I have as other have said need to see a better back line up. though we are still scoring more goals than we concede, its about time Darren needs to shore up that poor part of the game and introduce more ideas, and if he can't it's then time to replace him after having given him time to prove himself.
The baggies will be ok to the play-offs, with Birmingham no doubt.

Personally I dont see how Field gets a look in before Rakeem Harper.
Field seems scared to play a forward pass.
Drop Brunty and play Livermore and Harper together.
At least we might see some energy and box to box play between the both of them.
The defence is shambolic. I cant see an easy fix, but three at the back ain't working.
Agree with Josh's 4-2-3-1, with Harper in place of Barry.

I’ve calmed down a lot since last night and I’m still furious!!! Nuff said. Oh and still very embarrassed by our continued primary school defending.
Our best defender is currently at Rangers having been released!
Brunt and Field in the Centre! Sam looked terrified most of the time.
Dawson couldn’t pass wind!
Bartley is shite!
Phillips had a mare.
Gayle off, no sign of Sako!
Still no Oli Burke or Rakeem Harper or Kyle Edwards.
Still no RB!
Continues to play out of the back and creating their best chances from all over the pitch.
Yes we are top end but I honestly think it flatters us. The luck we’ve had this season is more than we’ve had combined in last 5. It’s used up, teams have worked us out. I’m honestly worried we’ll completely fold now. Confidence has gone, no energy, not much idea.
Good points: Barnes again, Mozza looked to go forward at every opportunity and looked good. Johnstones saves but I still don’t like him. He’s too small for a keeper and doesn’t command anything.
BD needs a massive kick up his arse. He’s As stubborn as Pulis but relies on Jones to help with tactics. It may well work for the Belgian national team but not for The Albion.
This needs sorting out or ship out otherwise I can see us being stuck in this horrible league for a long long time. We have a supposed Billionaire owner who suddenly has no money or interest.
It’s only 2 losses on the bounce I know but it’s obvious where all the problems lie. We can all see it apart from BD and before anyone says ‘well he sees them day in day out in training’ , if the others are worse than this lot we’re Well and truly fecked.

It seems very strange. Darren Moore makes all the right noises, says he's a great player and a fantastic lad, he scores in the games he plays in, and yet he's clearly not close to the first team. This despite that fact that we have HRK on the bench who, in most people's opinion, is a waste of a squad number. I don't know whether it's because the coach cannot see where he would fit into the current system and whether he sees Barnes taking the role that could be Burke's. However, the last two results should indicate to the management team that the system & players are not working together. I don't know what it was like last night but at Wigan, whenever one of the back three gave the ball to Brunt or Livermore, they were given it straight back..they then proceeded to pass it among their fellow back three, one of whom eventually would give it to Brunt or Livermore and who would give it back again (I feel like I could have cut and pasted this!). It didn't take Wigan long to work out this did not require too much robust defending on their part, just some high pressing. It worked.
Darren has to change something, not just replace Livermore/Barry with Field. As many have said, this system is not working, we cannot defend. We are 4th in the league despite, not because of, it.
