We just couldn’t get a foothold in the game today. Had some decent spells but couldn’t keep the ball long enough to really put them under pressure. Was always going to be tough and we did well to hold out as long as we did. Not sure Bannan would have made any difference but we would surely have had more bite in midfield. Front 2 struggled all match to create much. Defence looked solid though, Wildsmith made a few good saves but the pressure from them was always likely to tell at some point. Not a bad performance, just a bit disappointing against arguably the best team in the Championship at the moment.
