Who is the person that has walked under 30 ladders, kicked 30 black cats and smashed 30 mirrors ......

why else has lady luck deserted us .........

We need 8 wins and a draw just to reach the usual 40 point safety mark ....... this year I don't think that will be enough.

To make it worse ......... we have a tricky tie on new years eve against Arsenal before travelling to West Ham on Tuesday for a relegation six pointer:-

Now let's look at West Ham's tricky new year .......... no game for a week until they play us at home ..... a game we could have won now looks like another defeat and a widening gulf to safety ....... the tide of brown stuff is rising and we need to start swimming soon before we sink ....... hope is fading.

How have West Sham managed to get a free week in during xmas, when that will be our 2nd in 3 days ????

They play Tottenham two days later ... don't know why but that's what the fixtures show.

Arsenal play palace Thursday and us on Sunday probably to do with the paymasters wanting to show 98 premier league games over the festive season stuff the fans???????

17 games to get 25pts.

All those dropped points while Pulis was here are gonna come back and haunt us.

Also, hats off to Rondon, at this festive time of year. He played his role as the rear-end of a donkey brilliantly. Had the crowd in stitches.

Pardew already has us playing so much better. We battered Everton. Hopefully he can pick up a striker in January. Danny Ings maybe on loan. We looked so much better with Dawson back in at RB. The good news is there are still about 8 teams in this fight.

Just noticed .... West Ham play boxing day (Tuesday ) get a week off then play Tuesday. And Thursday
We play Tuesday, Sunday and Tuesday.
Palace play Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday.

Not saying the fa favour west ham well maybe I am but how is that fair ..... all three teams separated by three points and fighting a relegation battle ..... who has it easiest

Our loss to Stoke pissed me off, but our games against Liverpool and now Everton are showing the difference in the team since Pulis left. Slowly but surely we're getting to where we're supposed to be, we just need a proven goal scorer in January, because, as much as I love Rondon he's not getting the goals we require.

We will stay up. I believe!

P.s. hope everyone had a lovely Christmas Smile

Well said, Funky, (except for the bit about loving Rondon! I think he's crap, and I wish the Chinks would come back with a £5m offer.)

The fixture list DOES seem to favour some clubs over others, but let's not get paranoid; the FA would hardly have known which teams would be in which positions come December when the fixtures are decided!
