What a great 2nd half

We had a right go against a City side combined that cost just 327 Million,

Gibbs and Greg look really good signings

BUT

Why don't we play like that all the time ?

We are a top Striker away from being a really good side IF we play like that,

The chances we had at 1-1 were unbelievable,

Rondon, Morrison , HRK two golden chances the latter hitting the post when it was easier to score ,

Please Tone especially at home can we play like that all the time,

Against lesser teams we could well murder em,

But I suppose it's to much to ask  Sad

Couldn't agree more, zinman. I really think our failure to solve our striking problems which go back to last season is really going to hurt us

If Beefy is really Zinman, who de feck is Aries?

Laugh

Pity we didn't get a result last night as it seems we did have the chances and illustrates the need for another Kevin Phillips type player but where he comes from who knows.

I wonder if our attacking performance second half that produced our chances will influence the Head Coach to change his total defensive attitude for league games?  Two letter answers on a postcard to.....

Whistle

Well what a game of two halves. In the first half we were awful. Their goal after three minutes came after no WBA player had touched the ball other than Foster who made an initial save. Foster was awesome last night and kept us in it. No disrespect to Myhill, but if he had been playing we would have been three or four down by half time.
The second half was so different. We actually had City rattled. HRK should have scored twice, Morrison, J Rod and Rondon all went close. Probably the best half of attacking football we have played for a long, long time.
When the City keeper made a save and Sane raced away to score, did anyone else think the ball was already out and we should have had a corner? Being towards the Smethwick end it was difficult to see, but on the Albion Player highlights it looked like it was out!
Finally what a shame we couldn't have pinched it - we would have had the Dingles at home in the next round!
Let's home we show some similar attacking intent against Arsenal next Monday!

Maybe the second half is the shape of things to come ....... as I said in another post the more they all train together the more the new players will integrate and understandings will develop ..... with match fitness improving and Greg in the hole we might start winning by more than one goal .......... here it comes again ....... that thing called hope ......

Did better than I expected. And the Zineefy/ Binman twist made I chuckle.
