Us 'nobodies' will not forget Donovan's contribution to the Ardiles' team, Wakey. He added a bit of flair to lay on goals for SuperBob and Andy Hunt, and helped himself to a few good goals himself.

He genuinely did play a couple of matches for us on loan, and then became an artist. One of his paintings was sold at auction (see his signature, bottom right).

So close to being Old Reverend Fan. In fact, it does make Odd Reverend Flan, which makes it look as if DD is having a go at my cookery skills. I shall not forget.
