RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Birmingham - Towinjustonce - 10-02-2017 Boooommmm 3-0 RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Birmingham - Imre varadi - 10-02-2017 BRILLIANT RESULT !!! RATINGS IN A WHILE !! RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Birmingham - Owlkev71 - 10-02-2017 Thought we deserved the win but the scoreline flattered us a bit. RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Birmingham - Maddix - 11-02-2017 It was actually nice to see that we have a Left Back out of all the Left Backs we've signed Just need to sign a Right Back and then we'll be sorted Attack from the back, defend from the front
RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Birmingham - St Charles Owl - 11-02-2017 On the whole I thought Hunt did ok tonight, and his cross for Winnall's goal was superb!! But for me this shows the power of two proper strikers up front for us, two guys who know where the net is. We created 17 attempts on goal, 7 on target and got 3 goals, both Rhodes and Winnall's goals were goals I reckon our other strikers would not have scored or even been near the ball!! Obviously too early to be sure, but our conversion rate should certainly improve with these two up top!! RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Birmingham - Imre varadi - 11-02-2017 IMRES NO BULLSHIT RATINGS BROUGHT TO YOU BY A HAPPY IMRE DRINKING BEER IN THE SUN WESTWOOD ....8 Pouncing around like a mountain Puma best keeper ever to play for Wednesday HUNT ....6 The 6 rating was for the cross , the rest orf the game he was at his awful best out of position terrible passing and he even nearly cost Sasso dearly with his advice to leave it FOX....6 Defended well but looked poor attacking maybe he will come on ? but he looked out of his depth attacking ? not a fan of Pudil but i think he edges it at the moment . SASSO...6Comfortable playing out with the ball but gets caught out of position to easy doing also Hutchinson had to cover for him and Loovens to much meaning we only had one central midfielder LOOVENS ...8 solid as a rock i just dont get it with Loovens ? one week myke lyons the next week larry may HUTCH ....9 MOM Had to play as a center back covering sasso for much of the game so little help he could give to Bannan defended Brilliantly and motivates the rest of the team BANNAN ...6 Out bullied on his own in midfield and was pure shite the first half WALLACE .... 7 Played well and did create in the first 20 minutes and then went missing for 30 minutes but he played Winnall in on a plate who should have scored better performance without the goal and guess what we won by 3 not 1 FESSI ...7 Started of lively and his only downfall in the first half was being unselfish and trying to play his team mates in instead of doing what he is good at and having shots on goal from 25 yards RHODES .... 7 He made life difficult for the pub league defenders and knew exactly where to be when he scored his goal feff me am i dreaming hes a class above although he isnt david hirst maybe a better Brighty ?WINNALL ...7 Half chances is all he got and but for luck he could have had a hat trick on another day still hes going to have to keep putting them goals away or Hooper will walk straight back in REACH....7 Came on added pace that Fessi couldnt and scored a fine one on one goal MCcANNAMAN ... 7Also added umpth and kept a level head for the first time ive seen so far WAS THERE ANOTHER SUB .....FFS What a waste of his time and ours CC ....7 You could see he tried to change the way we have been playing and all credit because another performance like against wigan and we would have all been revolting . i think he does listen to the fans in some sense of the word and he tried his best to become less boring tonight SUMMARY This was much better on the eye than the last pathetic shite games ive seen preston wigan and brighton . but it still had a connection in some way as for much of the game we where there for the picking the difference tonight was the finishing and thats what weve all been asking for since the playoff final
RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Birmingham - St Charles Owl - 11-02-2017 I think you are a bit harsh on Fox with a 6. Part of his problem today was playing behind Forestieri on the left side who unlike Reach doesn't track back as much as say Wallace will on the right. For that reason I think Fox was always thinking he couldn't push too far forward for fear of leaving a huge hole behind him. Not say Forestieri should track back more but just that the FB needs to take that into account. RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Birmingham - Imre varadi - 11-02-2017 maybe but he looked under confident ? at least pudil has this ? like i said though its early days im not writing him off !! but he didnt look like he comfortable on the ball ? |
