Drives me nuts when Tony Pulis and many other Managers/Coaches call a circa 27 year old player "kid" or "lad"
as in "he's a smashing kid"  How can you call someone in their late 20's a 'kid' ?

Football commentators who come out with stupid statements like:  "He 'tested' the goalkeeper"  "The Manager is going to 'throw' on a substitute.

Agree with you Stairs - record and fast forward is the way to go.

Paying my Income Tax when my accountant has completed my annual return. That said, my Dad always told me never to complain about paying taxes - it means you are earning money !

Brussels money-grabbing, power crazy unelected bureaucrats

Many more to follow....

My dad used to tell a great story of how HIS grandad, at 94,  waddled down to a council garden as he often did to pass away the hours. This day he came back and my dad asked him who he'd seen, etc. He said "Just Bill Jones......(short pause) ......haven't seen him for weeks. Y'know,  he's a great kiddie."
Bill Jones was 87!

Everything, I guess, is relative.   Thumb up

You know what makes me angry?

.......Smiling b*stards!

Ugh! People who smile get on my tits.
I allowed myself a grin when Astle won us the Cup in '68 but, to my credit, I haven't strained my face since. My Wedding photos were a right let-down (in fact my Mrs has never seen me smile. Sex? She's still waiting.)

I'm actually very handsome (indeed) and don't want to get any laughter lines, thank you very much - not worth ruining my looks.

I prefer to see people grimace when they smile and say "Good morning", and I just scowl and say "Oh - is it?" (I smile inwardly then. I get a lot of pleasure out of that).

If I posted what I really wanted to rant about here, at best the post would be removed, so you can all make up your own rant from the following details;

Peter Odemwingie come out and said "football supporters show no loyalty to players let go by clubs", while siding with Payet.

You bleeping, bleep, bleep, bleeping bleep.

Bleeping loyalty you don't know the meaning of the word you bleeping bleep.

Everything being 'historic' - according to the BBC, the 5th-round cup draw is. It's over-used so much it becomes meaningless.

I've got a stinking cold, which is rant-worthy in itself.
But even worse - the moment you say, "I've got a cold," someone (usually of the female persuasion) will pop up and say , "Oh, man-flu!"
NO!!! I said I've got a cold. I've never mentioned flu of any kind. It's not funny.
Thank you, doctor, I feel better for that.
