Not necessarily as far fetched as you might think.

Apparently the big clubs of Europe want to change the Champions league by reducing the number of clubs allowed to take part to just 24.
These would be the teams finishing in the top four in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, England and I think Portugal.

Hence the actual Champions in say Holland, Belgium, Scandinavia, Greece and the Eastern Bloc and, of course Scotland, would not be invited.

A parking ticket failed to ruin Memphis Depay's night out. The Manchester United winger had parked his £250,000 Rolls Royce on double yellow lines for a meal with his girlfriend Lori Harvey... but the forward just laughed it off. (Manchester Evening News)

West Brom captain Darren Fletcher insists there is no problem between the players and the fans after winger Chris Brunt was hit on the face by a coin thrown by one of their own supporters. (Express and Star)

Aston Villa supporters are planning a mass walkout at the next three Villa Park matches to protest about the way the club is being run. Fans have been asked to leave their seats in the 74th minute. (Birmingham Mail)

If I were a Villa fan, I wouldn't wait that long Big Grin
