RE: WBA vs Everton - Match Thread - Salopbaggie - 28-09-2015 Again managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. A bit harsh on Myhill remember only Hart had more clean sheets before this game. Agree on Chester and Gardiner, jury is still out on McClean, he certainly has the heart and I think some views maybe a bit clouded by other issues. Morrison, Fletcher and Yacob I thought had a reasonable game. RE: WBA vs Everton - Match Thread - BaggieMan - 28-09-2015 (28-09-2015, 23:44)aries22 Wrote: I hope TP is spitting feathers tonight. He's got some serious work to do on our defence. Proper FBs needed. Trouble is Aries, it may be too late. RE: WBA vs Everton - Match Thread - Wrigley - 28-09-2015 just in from game good first half poor second prob we have that pulis has stripped the football out of us rondon is poor lambert even worse imo and chester im not even going to go there best defence record this year cruising at 2-0 and throw it away rant over RE: WBA vs Everton - Match Thread - Squirrel Regis - 29-09-2015 Wow ! 1st half not bad although Everton could have scored a couple. 2nd half WTF ! For 60 mins we passed the ball really well and closed down and worked hard. Thought everybody played well 1st half Fletcher back to his best and Mozza doing great but 2nd half reminded me of the Leicester game last season, we tried to shut up shop and it didn't work. Game was crying out for Mcmanamen but what do we get....Gardner. Quite obvious that TP had bought Chester as a right back, but Tony he is SHIT at RB play him at CB !!!! Square pegs in round holes just doesn't work at this level. Rondon got cramp 2nd half but not sure what people expect ? Got no service or any crosses. Well it's gonna be park the bus at Palace and hope for 0-0 but not feeling the love.

I'm not being over-reactive, because I've been saying it since early August, but this team are getting worse, not better. He won`t take us down. Just put us in the position where its virtually impossible to survive then walk so he keeps his record of not being relegated. RE: WBA vs Everton - Match Thread - Beefy 1965 - 29-09-2015 True DD Never mind I hear Pulis will sort this tomorrow as he is introducing a team talk with a new method to get his point across to the players so that they really understand what he wants, He will be bringing this beauty along with him
RE: WBA vs Everton - Match Thread - betterthanbaird - 29-09-2015 I agree with squirrel Regis. We were playing quite well and it fell apart. I do think some of you are being harsh on Rondon. Also McLean has been ok but most people don't rate him because the much better player mcmanaman is always on the bench. He should definitely have come on instead of Gardner. I agree with most about lambert and Chester. Giving away leads seems to be a part of our dna now and it doesn't surprise me anymore. I've given up in that respect. What annoys me the most is that we bought Anichebe and that gave Everton the money to pay a bigger loan fee for lukaku than we could. Lukaku has scored about 40 since then and Anichebe is in single figures. RE: WBA vs Everton - Match Thread - BaggieMan - 29-09-2015 Bairdy, spot on with Sicknote. Everton really sold us a dummy when they off-loaded him onto us for £6m. Is it just four Prem goals he's scored since joining? Even his own 'Big Vic' supporters have gone quiet now Very annoying and JP must be spitting feathers. RE: WBA vs Everton - Match Thread - DanTheSmethwickMan - 29-09-2015 He's had a full transfer window, last season was understandable with players making shift in other positions because he could do nothing about it. But there is no excuses this time, a whole pre season and window and we're still at this square peg in round holes stage. Ridiculous RE: WBA vs Everton - Match Thread - Tibby Baggie - 29-09-2015 Our performance up until our 2nd goal went in was reasonably good, but the performance from every single player on the pitch from that point on was absolutely disgraceful. No one left that game with any positives imo. Nothing pisses me off more than points getting thrown away, and all the players need to take long hard looks at themselves in the mirror and ask if their effort and work rate once we'd gone 2-0 up was good enough. It's not even about tactics when players can't play and focus for a full 90 minutes, which is exactly what lost us the game and how Everton won it... |
