RE: Hibernian v St Mirren - Trusevich - 28-09-2015 Quote:Violent scenes at derby between Red Star Belgrade and Partizan Belgrade delays game and leaves 35 police officers injured Source. No no, you're getting it all wrong hibeejim21, it's Rangers who are the REAL bad boys, singing their nasty songs and waving their life-endangering banners. ![]() Edit: F*ck me, there's been more violent behaviour by Motherwell fans in the last 5 months than there has Rangers fans in the previous 5 years. Tynie needs to start taking his medication again. Quote:Panathinaikos vs Olympiacos overshadowed by riots as fireworks, flares and chairs are thrown at players in bitter Greek rivalry Source. Aye, but Rangers fans sing a song. Ban them! ![]() Edit2: Take a look at some of those photos. The Old Firm derby is Playschool in comparison. As evidenced by the farcical circumstances surrounding rangers going down the drain. They are reasonable points to make in this debate hibeejim but Alex Salmond is no longer the 1st minister anyway and his comment at the time was no more than an opinion that a huge number of people in Scotland wholeheartedly disagreed with because of the social damage to the fabric of their society, something Alex Salmond likely never realised unless he personally scrutinised the hard evidence that stands up against this poisonous fixture that does indeed ruin peoples' lives on occasions - fact!! I wonder what the female opinion (eg Nicola Sturgeon) would be re the same issue eh - I'd bet good money it would not be the same view! My main point to emphasise re referring to a vile fixture in Euro football is the fact that any of the mentioned vile fixtures does not justify condoning or accepting what happens in Glasgow before and after a poisonous Rangers v Celtic match and, in 21st century Scotland, these moronic people (I won't describe them as football fans because they are not footie fans in the true sense of the sport that we enjoy!) either move on with the times or they should be hunted down in one of the biggest clean up campaigns that you'll ever witness!! And the clubs should be unceremoniously forced into the fray as well with appropriate sanctions and changed practises. I've listened to many of the pro-OF fixture arguments before and many protagonists try to dilute the debate with their football argument - football interest, the good of the game etc etc. THIS ARGUMENT IS FLAWED WHEN ONE SITS DOWN AND LOOKS CLOSELY AT THE HARD EVIDENCE, THE HISTORICAL FACTUAL EVIDENCE, THAT COVERS YEARS OF ANGST, INTIMIDATION, PERSONAL ASSAULTS, PERSONAL DEBILITATING INJURIES, AND DEATH TO MANY UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE/FANS INCLUDING FOLK WHO HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH FOOTBALL WHATSOEVER!! The huge figures will seriously astound you and I'm not exaggerating one jot. I regard the convenient omission of all the relative assaults, injuries and fatalities + relative hospital admissions, that are directly and indirectly associated with this poisonous fixture, as one of the biggest cover-ups in modern day Scotland and that is mainly because of the intractable nature of this problem, a problem that many people with vested interest want to sweep under the carpet and ignore - fact!! Lastly, the people who are at the front end of these issues that I've described, the Police, social workers, hospital front line staff - they don't want to ignore it, they'd luv to see this problem hammered into the ground because many of them have witnessed years of the worst side of this shit!! Bear that in mind eh! I'm beginning to think the problem here doesn't lie with the Old Firm, or Rangers, or even the perceived West of Scotland bias. The problem here is a hatred that your brain doesn't understand. And it really should understand, as that's exactly where it comes from. Hence the selective choice of just dismissing the criticism out of hand (lets avoid the main issues eh!!!) and the easy option of uttering the usual hatred insinuation etc - highly defensive and embarrassing with no corroboration whatsoever because you most certainly cannot corroborate your remark. It's a common response from ill-informed parties who can't get their heads around real factual information and stick resolutely to their own biased agenda - therefore try to distort the argument eh! It's a pity that certain affected parties and families cannot view ignorant threads like your one so that they can rip into your comments big-time with utter contempt!! Just reveal your true agenda - cut the crap and show a bit of honesty re what is most certainly a very delicate subject that lotsa OF fans avoid like the plague for obvious reasons! Defending the indefensible is downright embarrassing and you should be embarrassed!! RE: Hibernian v St Mirren - Trusevich - 28-09-2015 There you are pontificating about me dismissing the 'stats' and 'information'. You haven't provided any. How many people have died? How many people have been assaulted? How many people's lives have been ruined? How does those figures compare to other European countries and the football matches that take place there? How much shite are you talking? RE: Hibernian v St Mirren - supercooper - 28-09-2015 He does this all the time, goes off on a little tangent stating it as fact with nothing to back up his ridiculous claims. It's absolutetly frightening that one man can hold that much hate and rage for a football club. RE: Hibernian v St Mirren - Fredstersafool - 28-09-2015 Yikes I thought that was me too, looks like you've taken the mantle 0762. Didn't our officials observe this lad at La Manga during our pre-season prep game v Wigan and he had a good game against our defence and that was well before Rangers made any move for the lad???????? An opportunity missed? Of course it was!!!!! But that's Hibs in a nutshell!! Like many other sceptical Hibs fans, I regard Hibs as one of the fall guys of Scottish football and I don't see that situation changing any time soon!! Young family members in my family group view it the same way and no f####g wonder!!! NO MATTER WHAT WARBURTON ACHIEVED DURING THE PRE-SEASON, WE HAD LOTSA PRE-SEASON PREP TIME TO BE WELL PREPARED AND WE SHOULD BE MUCH CLOSER TO RFC IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP AT THIS STAGE OF THE SEASON AND PRESSURISING THEM IN A SHIT SCOTTISH FOOTIE LEAGUE CALLED THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!!! WE DON'T EVEN CURRENTLY OCCUPY SECOND POSITION AND NOBODY WILL CONVINCE ME THAT FALKIRK ARE A BETTER TEAM/CLUB THAN HIBS FC!!!!!!!!!!! Just watched the highlights for yesterdays game and Waghorns quick feet for his second were brilliant. As you said we missed a chance there. ![]() Also the run from Tavernier for his goal was excellent especially when you see where he eventually picked the ball up. Another missed opportunity. Must be nice to sign players and find they don't go straight to the treatment table ![]() (28-09-2015, 17:08)Fredstersafool Wrote: Yikes I thought that was me too, looks like you've taken the mantle 0762.Keep your head down Fred ![]() RE: Hibernian v St Mirren - 0762 - 28-09-2015 (28-09-2015, 17:08)Fredstersafool Wrote: Yikes I thought that was me too, looks like you've taken the mantle 0762. Taken up the mantle Fredster? Lol! Not really! This pair of loons know all about the black history attached to the OF match (and their own club - the Manchester riots anybody?????) and cannot disguise that fact. It's a nice research study to throw eggs full in their faces!! For starters, I'd suggest visiting the charity, Nil by Mouth, where lotsa info will be picked up on the social ramifications of bigotry and the post-OF match effects on lotsa people. They could possibly even pick up book titles/publications that are fully dedicated to many of the victims of OF violence and aggression. Then lets move on to the archived A&E records of the Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital and inspect dated post match records when areas of Glasgow were commonly described as WORSE THAN BEIRUT ON A BAD DAY!!! Now these records are very tasty in terms of the huge numbers of casualties (many life-threatening injuries and others) inundating this NHS hospital (not the only one either!) - the records are not fictional as I'm sure this pair of tossers would like them to be! Then visit the archived press reports of the likes of the Glasgow Evening Times (and others) and study the huge number of recorded post-OF match incidents/anecdotes and particularly those attended by the Police/Ambulance on a Saturday night - assaults, stabbings and some fatalities all thrown in the OF mix of drunken violence and bigotry on a grand scale!! If they are so interested in the subject and corroborating their ill-informed insinuations, then let them do the work as the subsequent info will reveal and endorse all that has been described in my previous threads. Lastly, what a pair of f####g jokers anyway. They are fans from a football club that lost all credibility a long time ago and they have the gall to come on this respectable board uttering a lotta ill-informed shit - they were well in on the act with their corrupt football club and forfeited all respect and credibility a long time ago - just study some of their past stupid comments related to that fiasco! Their stupid one-line threads more or less condemn their status as so called respectable fans, huhhhhh!! ![]() RE: Hibernian v St Mirren - Trusevich - 28-09-2015 (28-09-2015, 16:52)supercooper Wrote: He does this all the time, goes off on a little tangent stating it as fact with nothing to back up his ridiculous claims. He would have produced them, but unfortunately for him they simply don't exist. His opinion is nothing more than a figment of a hate-fuelled imagination running wild. |
