Port Vale was a disgrace, but I think Pulis wishes we'd have lost on penalties. He could have put Morrison in goal and told him to face the crowd. That would have been less embarrassing from what I'm reading.

We could have signed Sakho, Matt Phillips or Antonio.
Any one of them would have been a better option on the LM than Gardner.

Any further comments from the club re. 'good cup runs' should be treated with the contempt it deserves.
However, this is a completely pointless competition and I can imagine that behind the scenes this has been agreed and what makes it worse is that even if you won it then the penalty would be a place in that other, even more pointless competition, the Europa League.
I've just depressed myself.
Oh well, we've still got 'mid-table' to play for...

If these are the best bits I think pitiful is about the most generous I can be. Obviously he needs a bit more time but I really hope this was a bad game for Lindegaard.

Looks as if Lindegaard misjudged the 2nd one and thought it was going wide.

I don't blame lindergard for the 1st, great finish from there, the second one, (and the first half shots) were a bit worrying... Seemed to be diving way too late and /or misjudging them.
