RE: WHO AM I? - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 29-08-2015 Yes, Olsson is one. Paul Robinson isn't. Apologies for anyone rooting through old Division Three match reports; after a bit of studying, it seems the original question should have specified own goals scored in the TOP FLIGHT only. So, that's six players remaining who've scored more than one own-goal in an Albion shirt in the top division. RE: WHO AM I? - aries22 - 29-08-2015 Reference Silver Baggie's subs question. Ska'd has put me out of my misery by naming Graham Lovett, and through my travels in Googleworld, I remember reading the first sub we used in a League Cup game was Dick Kryzwicki, who came on (and scored, apparently) in the 4-2 win over Manchester City in October 1966, a game I was at but am blowed if I can remember that sort of detail! And I am no nearer to naming who our super sub was. Was it Ian Collard? And was he from Stockton on Tees as well?? Stan Jones, who owned a fish and chip shop in West Bromwich High Street, is one. By coincidence it was Dick Krzywicki that he replaced that day. That leaves the question of the super sub ![]() 1) I was born in Birmingham and joined Albion as a schoolboy in 1977. 2) I played 68 league games coming on as a substitute no fewer than 37 times. 3) I scored a total of 15 goals in the league 4) My total for all games, including Cups is 79 appearances (40 as sub) and I scored 19 goals in total. I could give you his initials but, it's about time you fellas started to struggle a little. ![]() ![]() RE: WHO AM I? - Mosestheballwinner - 30-08-2015 Nicky Cross?
