It appears that DC wants to set up a system that will take us to promotion & beyond. It makes sense to set that up now.

RE: New Manager Thread - St Charles Owl - 12-06-2015

If that is set in stone then the next manager will need to be completely on board with that style of running the club. For me this would rule out Warburton, who left a similar system at Brentford and would probably also rule out Big Sam as I am sure he would want more control.

RE: New Manager Thread - madsteve - 12-06-2015

6/4 Allardyce
5/1 Jokanovic
8/1 Warburton
14/1 Poyet
16/1 Lambert
18/1 Carbone
20/1 Hasselbaink, Eriksson
...............................
33/1 Garde, Di Matteo

Best Odds:

2/1 Allardyce
4/1 Lambert
6/1 Jokanovic
9/1 Warburton
16/1 Poyet, Eriksson
18/1 Carbone
20/1 Hasselbaink

been in sides that have consistently pushed for promotion every year prior to moving to us and he's better than Jeremy "get the ball, sprint 60 yards, turn around, sprint 60 yards, turn around, lose it" Helan and Claude "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF" Dielna

The committee was in place 2 weeks before the end of the season and any decision should have been made then. Instead it's 5 weeks into pre-season and we have no manager and half a squad, the other half dont come back for training for 2/3 weeks so the new boss wont have time to look at his options.

Neither Dielna or Helan are left backs.  It's only Wednesday that have decided to play them there.  And they aren't out of contract so we can't just get rid like we did with Mattock.

I hope it's not Poyet.

Why did Jokanovic leave Watford?   Was he wanted stupid money due to getting them promoted?

Dielna was never a hoof ball player until SG got hold of him. He will probably be a new player if we get a good footballing manager.

Sky Sports reporting Billy McKinlay as Wednesday's preferred option. Currently number 2 to Moyes at Sociedad.

I really hope they've got this wrong
