Red card for Bartley after the final whistle.

RE: WBA v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 08-02-2025

Bartley sent off after the final whistle, not that it really matters

The defence and strikers are shocking

How many times can you go over the same thing?
It's like these players are toddlers or something. It's more points thrown away and another reason why we just need to focus on guaranteeing our safety by consolidating a mid table finish.

These players have shown, repeatedly, that they're absolutely mediocre.
Without Bannan it's so much worse.

Johnson and Ugbo defending twinged with a bit of nonsense from beadle !!

So many goals conceded from set pieces/crosses.

There were 2 players at the near post and neither picked up the goalscorer.

It's the basics, but we haven't learnt all season

Joint 8th still but Norwich will beat Derby and Bristol Swansea will be a draw making us 10th Millwall now can go above us with a game in hand and so can everyone else when Swansea beat us on Wednesday ...15th place coming up and hovering above the relegation teams !! It's not looking good at all with the injuries to bannan and possibly Bernard now aswell ! It's been a really poor last few weeks of results thanks to Chansiri and his stupid comments mixed in with rohls tantrum of the Southampton job ..the club is so fragile from top too bottom ! The players we have are just not good enough and in a perfect world I'd only keep about 5 of them on in the future and that 5 includes 2 goalkeepers ffs .

Our set piece coach was brought in from Accrington Stanley so that just tells you where we are at directly !

GT maddix ...spit !

This is Wednesday, unfortunately. We're only going to make baby steps forward, if at all.

The ownership, leadership, infrastructure, players. It's all wrong and in dire need of rectification. Which again, isn't happening.

I think we're doomed to go in circles as we watch our peers and minnows surpass us.

Thankfully we have a 15 point buffer to the relegation zone.

We will probably finish just below mid table

Bernard has a knee injury, early prognosis not good

Unclear on Bannan, could be 1-4 weeks or longer.
