If the money is right we should sell Windass, a few million could finance three other players who are younger and fitter. Storey would be a good addition.

Like you Imre I would be happy with mid-table, let’s stay away from the relegation spots if we can and who knows maybe sneak into the playoffs. I can see Leicester and Southampton taking the top 2 places, not sure about L**ds, if their ownership is sorted they might spend big. Either way I see the three coming down likely to be the three promoted.

Just as long as we stay up. Ideally, mid table would be great, but I do feel we will be in a relegation fight, just as long we don't finish in the bottom 3.

Chansiri finally holding a fans forum.
I wonder what he's going to blame the fans for this time!?
It's nice to have them back, long overdue. Shame he doesn't give a shit what the fans think.
He's been told for years about the state of the ground among other ideas to move the Club in a different direction.

If we were to all pass the hat around at the meeting and hand it in so he can buy some paint, I bet he wouldn't even be embarrassed.

The problem has been that any money spent on the stadium is wasted money. In league one the ground was full 2-3 times, so with us having 22k or so ST holders and say 3k away fans, the ground is big enough for what and where we are. Now that might change a bit this season, our home crowd will increase a bit and the away fan numbers will be higher so we might have a sell out at 5-6 home games, so making some improvements to get the capacity back up to where it was would be useful to increase revenue, but at what cost?

Ultimately the Leppings lane stand needs knocking down, but that would cost us 20m at least to do and I don't see that happening until we are back in the PL.

I'll put a line in my will telling my great great great great grandson to look out for it Cool

By the time the away end gets knocked down the north will need knocking down as well ( sigh)

But like charlie says 20 million it won't be happening untill we've been in the premiership for 3 seasons at least !!

Hate to say it but the f'ucking lot needs knocking down. It would be cheaper to build a new stadium on the bombsite across the road Cool

You're not wrong though Confused

Absolute rock and a hard place. Could it be any other way with Wednesday?

Maybe something positive will come from the fans' interaction with the Chairman. I don't recall previous meetings bringing much to fruition; then again it has been a few years.
