RE: INTERNATIONAL THREAD vs Switzerland - consilio - 08-09-2014 Get in!!!!!! RE: INTERNATIONAL THREAD vs Switzerland - Owlkev71 - 08-09-2014 Welbeck! 0-2! Job done, well played lads. RE: INTERNATIONAL THREAD vs Switzerland - consilio - 08-09-2014 Great win. Full credit to the players and Hodgson RE: INTERNATIONAL THREAD vs Switzerland - St Charles Owl - 08-09-2014 Nice break and good finish by Wellbeck!! 2-0 is a great result in what should be the hardest qualifier for England. RE: INTERNATIONAL THREAD vs Switzerland - Stairs - 08-09-2014 Happy with that and in addition to the result a few promising performances RE: INTERNATIONAL THREAD vs Switzerland - consilio - 08-09-2014 Rooney is so much better up front. The difficulty now is fitting Sturridge back in? RE: INTERNATIONAL THREAD vs Switzerland - Maddix - 08-09-2014 The good news out of tonight is that the grandsons new bedroom is decorated and I didn't have to watch the game ![]() Did we win ![]() RE: INTERNATIONAL THREAD vs Switzerland - Thurnscoe_OWL - 08-09-2014 (08-09-2014, 22:37)Imre varadi Wrote: Bastard ive lost my sleeping smiley arrrrrggghhhh ! To me ![]() ![]() ![]() So I'm the only winner I think, I'll update the league in a bit ![]() RE: INTERNATIONAL THREAD vs Switzerland - madsteve - 09-09-2014 A good all round performance. Welbeck was outstanding. Sterling is a constant threat (nearly as good as Antonio). Rooney was better. Cahill led the defence well. Hodgson has a tough selection issue eventually up front where Sturridge is our best player & Wellbeck is quality. Sterling looks best just behind the front two so where does Rooney fit in? The next game is San Marino so he can play 235 (Pei's standard formation) & go for goals but eventually he will have to solve the problem up front. Sturridge & Sterling are the players to build the team round. The midfield isn't that strong yet but Henderson is solid & Delph looks promising. Jones has looked more the part in the last two games & Cahill has taken over the John Terry leader role at the back (& he is an Owl). RE: INTERNATIONAL THREAD vs Switzerland - consilio - 09-09-2014 Rooney needs to play up front. He's who we should be building the team round |
