Agree Blue - where does our (almost invisible) owner figure in this, I wonder? I've read the info and it's not long term, we're looking for money for transfers now. This clearly means our Transfer surplus and parachute payments has gone - just like last year? Without investment Bilic has no funds for transfers - great news. I would love to see WBA books and balance sheets. RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 9) - Transfer Window - Beefy 1965 - 11-01-2020 Yet Slaven openly said we have money left over from the summer to spend if we need it
RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 9) - Transfer Window - BaggieSteve - 11-01-2020 I see that Dwight Gayle went off injured at Molineux, seemingly with a hamstring injury. I guess that puts paid to one of the potential transfers in January RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 9) - Transfer Window - Stairs - 12-01-2020 (11-01-2020, 19:17)BaggieSteve Wrote: I see that Dwight Gayle went off injured at Molineux, seemingly with a hamstring injury. I guess that puts paid to one of the potential transfers in JanuaryI have always felt that if we took him he would end up crocked or would fail to deliver. It’s a curse of Albion when we return for players. I’d rather we find a new and exciting striker from elsewhere. But first someone to galvanise the team on the pitch. We are dropping points and will soon have to look over our shoulders. RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 9) - Transfer Window - Beefy 1965 - 13-01-2020 Reports in Croatia linking Albion with a move for Dinamo Zagreb winger Mislav Oršić. I'm hearing he is a player Bilic likes. What I know for certain is, as it stands today, a bid has not yet been made. #wba Good signing if true But this one 5 years later, Martin Olsen 31 is training with the Baggies and will sign shortly as cover for Kieran Gibbs ....
RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 9) - Transfer Window - WBA-Josh - 13-01-2020 https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mislav-orsic/profil/spieler/119150 Mislav Oršić has 11 goals in 13 league matches for Zagreb and scored 4 goals in the Champions League Group Stage including a hat-trick against Atalanta. Looks like he can play on both wings and as a striker so strengthens 3 positions. As for Olsson, it’s a trial so we’ll see what happens. I’d rather we look at signing a quality left back to be first choice for us with Gibbs down to 2nd because of his injury problems but I wouldn’t be against Olsson signing, if his trial goes well. RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 9) - Transfer Window - Beefy 1965 - 13-01-2020 Olson was obviously stuck in that snow drift for five years
RE: Jan 2020 (Jan 9) - Transfer Window - Beefy 1965 - 14-01-2020 Nathan Ferguson is expected to let his contract, which expires in the summer, run down in an effort to attract interest from foreign clubs. His agent has reportedly been in contact with “very big clubs” abroad who are all keen. [via @reluctantnicko] https://t.co/ApdDxJBjgF Poor from Ferguson again moving abroad, yet again the club will receive a pittance of 200k for helping him through his journey. The least he could do is go in January and get us some decent bucks, How the club keep letting this happen is crazy, don't they know these kids have greedy Fookin agent's by now

Just sad, I wouldn't play him again - lets say bye bye now and tell him to sweep the stands for the next 4 months. |
