So McClaren is back at Derby!! Surprised by that, he got them into the playoffs with Clough's team and then they spectacularly nosedived from top spot to outside the playoffs the following season, culminating in him being sacked and heading to Newcastle, where he was a disaster!!!

I spoke yesterday to a bloke I went to school with who supports Rovrum and he's quite pleased about Jackett because he knows the division. He said he didn't know a Rovrum fan who liked Stubbs and they were all glad he'd gone. He said he thought they were doomed unless they spent some money and I didn't disagree although I did point out that Warnock saved them with very little spent, if any!

So the number of managers fired in the Championship since the start of the season has risen to 6 with Zenga going from Wolves and Caldwell being fired by Wigan!! That is a quarter of the clubs making a change already and the list doesn't include L**ds or Blackburn yet!! So Carlos is now the 6th longest serving manager in the Championship!!! Mick McCarthy is the longest serving manager with a whopping 4 years at Ipswich!!!

I know Wolves have lost 4 out of 5, he had started the season quite well, 15 pts from 9 games. No patience these days, well not much of it anyway.

Couldn't see him ending up anywhere else other than a bottom half Championship side so that's a great deal for him. And when we do sell him to a L1/Bottom Champ team we'll at least get enough to pay Fletchers wages
