The north London (Spuds) side are confident of completing a deal for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino, 22, but are unwilling to meet the £25m asking price. (Daily Mail)

The Baggies have put strikers Brown Ideye, 26 and Victor Anichebe, 27, up for sale following the arrival of £12m record signing, Venezuelan Salomon Rondon, 25. (Express & Star)

If true ;and I feel a little sorry for Brown; then surely selling Saido is out of the question.

Not sure who is going to sign 'Bi Vic' but, one things for sure, we won't be getting our  money back.

Other than a League 1 or 2 club, I also can't see any club coming in for Sicknote. We were either stupid or conned when we paid Everton £6m for him. They must have laughed all the way to the bank.

I thought Ideye had a very good pre-season and would be given more of a chance in these first few games to show his value to the club. Maybe if Rondon is not fit enough for Watford that will provide him with his chance (instead of bringing on sick note as happened against Man City).

If he goes, I wish him well because I feel we missed out on seeing his true capability and will see him scoring goals for fun elsewhere.

Mention that we are looking to re sign Morgan Amalfitano from Wet Sham after he fell out with Bilić

Should never have let him go. One of many bad moves that year.

RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (12th Aug) - WBA-Josh - 13-08-2015

Amalfitano returning will be a good move in my opinion because when he is on form, he is a good Prem quality winger. Amalfitano, McManaman, Gnabry and McLean as our 4 wingers should be enough.

If Ideye and Anichebe leave, we will be left short upfront but that can be rectified if Tony can entice Dennis Praet to the club. I think Lambert, Berahino, Rondon and Praet as our 4 options in attack will be very good. Tony will have options then. He could play his 4-4-2 with Lambert or Rondon partnering Berahino or a 4-2-3-1 with Praet playing in the number 10 role with Lambert, Rondon or Berahino as the lone striker. You can never have too many options.

No to Amalfitano from me. Awful attitude and won't last one week with Pulis

Harry, Bad Attitude? I don't remember him having a bad attitude apart from clattering Brunty last season Huh

I'd love him back at The Albion, it was us who didn't take the option up, he didn't refuse to sign for us and that goal against Man Utd was nothing but Superb.

Get him back asap IMO

I don't recall any bad attitude. I would assume that if the rumours are true about Alf returning then it would be TP's idea?

It would be extremely unlikely that Pulis would bring him back only to not last a week....

His general cannot-be-arsed attitude is the reason he is training with the U21s and West Ham are letting him go. Very unpopular with the squad too according to the local press. We need team players right now and I don't think he is
