If we went back up,how on earth would we compete with the likes of the Dingles splashing the cash and Fulham I have just realised have spent wait for it over 100 million ?  Huh

Easy - Get a new owner and Mendez to be our DOF

Easier said than done that as you know,
I'm not sure whether this is true or not a lot of people who always seem to be spot on regarding WBA, reckon the first buyers we turned away were Fosun the Wolves new owners because JP wouldn't lower his price, so much for someone who could take us to the next level eh Jeremy? and all because you wanted your 200 million to live on ..........

IF THIS IS TRUE Thumb up

Mendez is just a dream, new buyer ?  you never know - the seals found 2 willing to invest and they are in a far worse position then we are. The Chinese are not really interested, makes me wonder as to why they purchased our club in the first place. JP would only sell to people who would look after the club - his homework on the new owners was "Give me the cash and its yours" thanks BYEEEE

Heard a rumour that when the chairman instructed the board what he wanted this season was a player called Lee Gwon. Think there must have been a mis-translation somewhere. DD Rolleyes Rolleyes

Very good Sporting Director, smart buying and thinking outside the box.

£10 million for Jake Livermore vs £3 million for Pascal Groß
£15 million for Oli Burke vs £2.5 million for Simon Hedlund.

Spending lots of money doesn’t always guarantee success. We used to be superb at buying players for cheap and turning them into quality players but we haven’t done it well since Ashworth left. We need a good Sporting Director to take us back to that, we need Klaus Allofs.

Spent 80 odd Million on five players on deadline day as well though Josh, we can only dream of doing that

I'd take BENTEKE on loan if he's available?

I’ll be very happy if this happens. He’s a better and more consistent player than Nyom and would finally sure up the right side of the defence.

If it doesn’t happen then we still have Dawson to cover there until January.
