RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (9th Aug) - Tom_Wba - 09-08-2015 My Gooner friends were all praising Gnabry on a thread when i asked about him being a good signing or not: "Superb signing Tom. Loads of potential mate" "Gnabry is very very similar to Oxlade- Chamberlain, he is strong, can play out wide and is quick too" "Good player Tom,bags of potential, got pace, strength & very skillful" "great signing... injury problems have stopped him breaking into first team squad - hopefully over those now and will kick on." ![]() RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (9th Aug) - Salopbaggie - 09-08-2015 Just thinking of past transfer windows and being one of those sado's that tend to watch coverage of the final day start to finish. I was remembering how often Pullis likes, if not loves to do business as close to the window closing as possible. Apart from last year he always seemed to be the one doing the most business at the literal last minute on some occasions. Hoping for an exciting last few hours this year. Ah! That explains it - thanks RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (9th Aug) - Dingle-Dingle - 10-08-2015 West Brom boss Tony Pulis says he is keen to sign more players to bolster his side and has urged Baggies fans to be patient as he tries to bring in reinforcements. (Birmingham Mail) DD ![]() ![]() RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (9th Aug) - Latecomer - 10-08-2015 Twitter is reporting that Rondon will sign a 5-year deal on £50,000 a week - some statement of faith if we turns out to be no more than a trier. Still... glad to see the club progressing this one. Having our 4 strikers as Berahino, Rondon, Doumbia and Lambert would be the stuff dreams are made of. Following that with Praet (seems very unlikely), Marshall and a LB would be cloud 9. RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (9th Aug) - Dingle-Dingle - 10-08-2015 West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis may approach Liverpool about a loan deal to bring Jose Enrique to the Hawthorns for the rest of the season, according to the Daily Star. The Baggies are a bit thin at the back at Enrique would add to the defensive ranks. The Spanish left back has fallen by the wayside under Brendan Rodgers, losing his place in the starting line up to Alberto Moreno. This season looks set to be another one where he will sit on the bench and an opportunity to play first team football in the Midlands would be a good choice. That little lot, though sort of realistic would be the "stuff dreams are made of". Only coming in marginally behind the one involving the entire Dallas Cowboys cheerleading squad ![]() ![]() RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (9th Aug) - wba_1996 - 10-08-2015 (10-08-2015, 12:38)Latecomer Wrote: Twitter is reporting that Rondon will sign a 5-year deal on £50,000 a week - some statement of faith if we turns out to be no more than a trier. While that strikeforce would probably be the strongest we have EVER had, all 4 would be expecting to start every match ![]() RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (9th Aug) - BaggieMan - 10-08-2015 (10-08-2015, 12:38)Latecomer Wrote: Twitter is reporting that Rondon will sign a 5-year deal on £50,000 a week - some statement of faith if we turns out to be no more than a trier. Latecomer.... Have I missed something? Have we signed Doumbia or should that read Brown Ideye ???? A confused on account of my age, Baggieman. ![]() RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (9th Aug) - betterthanbaird - 10-08-2015 (10-08-2015, 15:07)TheBaggieMan Wrote:(10-08-2015, 12:38)Latecomer Wrote: Twitter is reporting that Rondon will sign a 5-year deal on £50,000 a week - some statement of faith if we turns out to be no more than a trier. We've been linked with him but we haven't signed him and we won't imo. |
