Its 9 days until the season opener and we are having to field a second half team including Wilson, O'Shea, Howkins, Melbourne, Harpery, Tulloch, Roberts, Edwards.  No disrespect to our academy players and this will have been a good experience for them, but the fact we are having to, just 9 days before the season kicks off.

Am I OK to starting worrying a little yet?

Yes, Salop, I think it's OK to start worrying now Wink

Salop, yes it is okay to start worrying.

In fact it is getting to the point of being the only option.
We are currently in a position where we can't field a full match day squad of 18, normally we make late signings, they struggle and are excused because they have not had a proper pre-season, this year even the squad players we have have not had a proper pre-season due to injuries.
I am very fearful for this year, we have the easier games early doors by the time we have a squad that is match fit we will be playing teams that have spent hundreds of millions, with a full pre-season under their belts and been playing league games together. Difficult fixtures become harder, can see big hammerings from these teams coming our way.

Without investment in the team we could be playing the BCD next season, what good will six Albion themed sport towns in China do us then when we're not on TV playing away at Burton Albion, no disrespect they are punching above their weight, on a wet Tuesday night in november.

Years of uncertainty 're ownership has caused a crisis ........ please please let me be wrong.

DD has given up worrying. Hence the Angry Angry .

Thank god for beta blockers.

We may not even get the BCD or the Vile next season after relegation. They could be passing us.

I suppose the good thing is Pulis saying they are still after 4-5 and they are just waiting on getting them over the line.

Look at the Neymar deal, been agreed weeks by the sounds of ti and still no further on.

I would like to think that we have deals in place and are negotiating and its now a case of getting pen on paper.

I have been as frustrated as anyone. however thats because i let myself get excited over paper talk.

That would be like the 2 players who were going to be announced when the squad got back from Hong Kong, then.

Dev that is a £200m deal. We can't even negotiate a £4m for Charlie Taylor whom we have been looking at for 12 months. You are the ultimate optimist and fair play to ya because I am racked off with it more and more everyday.

I was the same as you, and i suppose deep down i still am.

however i cling on to the hoe of...

Rondon came out of nowhere and all of a sudden was signed within half a day of us first hearing about it

same with Hegazy - who seems to have really impressed off the bat.

we do have the ability to pull off some nice surprises.

dont get me wrong, if out next big signing is Marc Wilson yes i wont be jumping for joy, but lets just see how it pans out
