Shocking way to lose the game with a 92nd minute own goal!!!! England did not deserve to lose that game but just couldn't find that second goal. The girl who scored the own goal had to go for it, so while she will be feeling shit at the moment it was just unlucky!!

England had 11 efforts on goal to Japan's 4, that sums up the game, England were the ones pushing for the second goal and Japan were hitting on the break. No way they deserved for it to end like that!!! Thought it was an ok game, I know it was hot, up to 120 degrees on the pitch but what seems to be lacking is true speed!! They have the agression, the skill and the ability, but they all seem to move at the same speed and its not often they beat anyone down the wing or through the middle. But it must definitely have increased the popularity of womens football in England.

USA have won the tournament now. Japan were really poor and England could have had 4/5 but for the crossbar
