france were dominant in the first 25 mins, Ronaldo went off and Portugal grew into it and looked most likely to score in the end. this will go the distance or will be settled by one goal. Not going to be a classic final

It's a poor game IMO. So poor I'm off outside to play with the snakes in the garden.

You're right, Thurny!

This really is a fitting final to cap this farce of a Tournament off.

Its Greace all over again ? what have England learned ? nothing !

a serious question for pieowl !! ive just realised ive got a few grey pubes what happens next ?

France look they've well and truly bottled it. Typical of their whole tournament they've had loads of the ball but no urgency in the final third, no one looking capable of unlocking the defence for their teammates, just occasional individual bursts. Portugal a better team without Ronaldo, but they've also been true to their form - more than capable of opening up the opposition but just not bothering their arse most of the time.

I have to admit, much as I just want this one to be over and done with I would love France to score an equaliser in the last seconds purely to see Ronaldo's face when it happens.

I'll check the results of the competitions at some point today or tomorrow. Still not sure what everyone will win, whether it's a BML Smartass or a Thumb up from me but well done if you win
