Apart from some lovely interchanges between Pereira and Diagiananana we've just shown nothing. thats the way you throw away a seasons work RE: WBA vs Fulham & Huddersfield - Tue 14th July 5pm & Fri 17th July 5.30pm - drewks - 17-07-2020 Shift. .... I DO like the Championship Can't complain. Just not good enough today RE: WBA vs Fulham & Huddersfield - Tue 14th July 5pm & Fri 17th July 5.30pm - SomersetBaggie - 17-07-2020 Pathetic, did not deserve anything and cannot see them winning the playoffs. True cost of not having a decent striker. RE: WBA vs Fulham & Huddersfield - Tue 14th July 5pm & Fri 17th July 5.30pm - BaggieSteve - 17-07-2020 Totally agree with Somerset Baggie. We can criticise individual performances - and there were plenty very average - but if we’d actually spent the money on Gayle, we’d be promoted by now, probably as champions. Our strikers are quite simply dreadful. Diangana put one too far in front of HRK in the 1st half and Austin got zero service. Can’t break teams down. Opponents had West Brom style sussed out around Xmas and Baggies haven’t been able to adapt, except for 1 or 2 really good performances. RE: WBA vs Fulham & Huddersfield - Tue 14th July 5pm & Fri 17th July 5.30pm - Stairs - 17-07-2020 Stoke have never given us anything and they won’t tomorrow. We are in the playoffs for sure and no one get out of that when dropping. It’s always the team on the up. Championship football v Villa next season. Sickening of all we gave Leeds the title. I agree that the lack of a quality striker has been our Achilles Heel all season. Great as it is to have scorers across the squad, all good teams have a instinctive striker leading the line. The world has gone mad at the moment and so I find it hard to get overly emotional about football or other sporting matters. But will still keep an eye on the Stoke game in case ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: WBA vs Fulham & Huddersfield - Tue 14th July 5pm & Fri 17th July 5.30pm - Blue Baggie - 17-07-2020 We didn't bottle it, IMO we are lacking the desire and passion needed to get out of this division. Big changes are required, it's time to give up on our so called super stars. If Bilic continues with this bunch he may as well get on his bike. Time to build around our youngsters. Get rid of Austin - Zohore - HRK - Gibbs - Diangana - Phillips - Johnstone - Sawyers - Burke Bring In Bond - Field - Leko - Morton - Soule - Tulloch RE: WBA vs Fulham & Huddersfield - Tue 14th July 5pm & Fri 17th July 5.30pm - St Charles Owl - 17-07-2020 (17-07-2020, 21:16)Stairs Wrote: We are in the playoffs for sure and no one get out of that when dropping. It’s always the team on the up. I get how you guys feel but to be fair you are not yet in the playoffs, you are still in the auto spots. Brentford have to get at least a draw to overtake you and if you thought the pressure was on them to keep winning, then its now 10 times worse pressure as they are now in the driving seat and that pressure as the front runner is different, lets see how they cope with that. But even if they do handle it and you end up in the POs, there is no team in there with any form, Brentford were the one and only ones with the form. So surely you are a better team than the rest and Bilac needs to instil that into the players, I was disappointed to see Austin in tears after the game, its by no means all over but that act will give others faith that you guys have given up!!! This season isn't over yet, this is the Championship and it never goes out without a fight somewhere!! RE: WBA vs Fulham & Huddersfield - Tue 14th July 5pm & Fri 17th July 5.30pm - Arcane Astral Aeons - 17-07-2020 bit harsh that last comment to be honest SB selection tonight was strange Phillips was a basic spectator apart from getting booked apart from giving away the free kick that they scored from i thought O`Shea was quality Austin?....no Perreira?.....not a lot he could do being perpetually hacked at Diangana ran out of steam funny thing is a Stoke win tomorrow(could happen) will get us all wishing again against QPR |
