And Morrison.

These two managed to be anonymous in the Gibraltar game, ffs,

We have done ok in the games where we just have to defend and hit on the break - as soon as the onus is on us to make a result happen the bus is parked by side of road, up on bricks and awaiting the AA.

The only thing in our favour now is that, although we are behind the Rep on points, we have a (supposed) 3 point banker in Gibraltar to come.  We need 7 points from the next 3 games to finish 3rd and I don't think we have it in us.

Gutted.

Not only is Fletcher not scoring, he doesn't look capable of scoring.

Naismith running around like a headless chicken half the time.

Ffs, just a bit of guile and pace couple to positional sense: so it's Rhodes and A Nother.

I don't remember Fletcher ever really doing anything significant for Scotland. His reputation was built on the time when he wasn't being selected. A couple of dangerous goal scorers with some players capable of playing tidy, positive football behind them would have done the trick. Huffing and puffing on the ball with a striker whose only virtue to the side is his height playing so deep he was in with the midfielders was just pointless.

He scored a hat trick against Gibraltar first Scotkand player since Stein to score one,if ye call that significant v Gibraltar

xxxx, Colin Hendry nearly scored a hat trick against San Marino in 2001 (before he was sent off). Not sure that would have made him an international class striker. Come to that, Fletcher's only scored 1 more international goal than Hendry did.
