RE: Pitching on Four Fronts - Trusevich - 06-03-2015 He had the right idea though. Piss poor tools to implement it at the time too, it has to be said, plus the unrelenting lack of understanding from the media driving the fans' discontent. Later Scotland teams were reliant on the players he blooded at international level, even if they were ultimately unsuccessful. Who knows what MacBertie could have achieved if he was afforded some leeway by the rabid hound dogs of the headline-worshipping press and media. RE: Pitching on Four Fronts - TheWorthinGer - 06-03-2015 He made Christian Dailly national captain. Legend making stuff. RE: Pitching on Four Fronts - Larry-AV - 06-03-2015 Ally McCoist was warmly welcomed at the EGM today ... does anyone think he will be re-appointed as Manager ? A cruel anomaly. Or some such guff. Better f*cking not be. I suspect McCoist will always be fondly welcomed at the club, he is after all a proper legendary player. As a manager he's been just awful. I'd have John Greig back as manager before him.
