RE: Hornets v Terriers 16-Dec-2017 - Lord Snooty - 18-12-2017 I agree it wasn't a penalty but it also wasn't a dive. I've no doubt he'll end up getting a ban for it though, mainly because we need punishing for daring to believe that we belong in this division. RE: Hornets v Terriers 16-Dec-2017 - WakeyTerrier - 18-12-2017 I don't see how he'll be banned...he wasn't seeking to fool the ref, he didn't appeal for a penalty and he got up to get the ball back RE: Hornets v Terriers 16-Dec-2017 - Lord Snooty - 18-12-2017 Kachunga will be out for 8-12 weeks. Knee ligament injury. Chris Lowe however, should be fit for Saturday. I never said it was a dive, and there is no way he will be banned for that. Its one of those where you are pissed when they are given against you but the contact didn't warrant the little bunny hop either!! RE: Hornets v Terriers 16-Dec-2017 - Lord Snooty - 18-12-2017 Phil Neville said it was a dive on MOTD2 last night. I don't think it was a dive but it looks like he exaggerated the contact. It seems that currently the ones they are looking at are the ones where there is no contact or the dive is so exaggerated that it is obviously a dive. The commentary I had on it over here didn't say it was a dive but did make comment on the way he went down. RE: Hornets v Terriers 16-Dec-2017 - Amelia Chaffinch - 18-12-2017 Watch the You Tube clip, SCO. He fell to his knees, did not hold his arms for a penalty and got up to try to get the ball. RE: Hornets v Terriers 16-Dec-2017 - theo_luddite - 18-12-2017 I'm still laughing at the numpty defender holding his face trying to get a free kick as Depoitre runs passed him and smashes the ball into the net. ![]() RE: Hornets v Terriers 16-Dec-2017 - St Charles Owl - 18-12-2017 (18-12-2017, 21:18)Amelia Chaffinch Wrote: Watch the You Tube clip, SCO. I have watched that clip multiple times, including live on tv on Saturday, he didn't fall to his knees, he does a little hop onto his knees. It looks awkward more than sinister and yes you are right he didn't claim anything but in reality the ref blew straight away so there was no need for him to claim anything, by the time he looked up the penalty had been given. |
