Hearts beaten a respectable 2-0 by unbeaten Celtic at Parkhead and Cathro's final record for this season is a dismal one - played 15 matches and won twice!

On the subject of Potter signings - Berra signed up by Hearts today and Cathro gives him the captain's arm band. The signing itself is so 'Potteresque' in influence and authority, it was prob set out on the usual yellow post it lol!

Well that's one £20 bet I managed to just deposit before the decisive damage was done to reduce the odds even further of Cathro being sacked! I'm curious to know what was agreed re his 'pay off'. Also all concerns and criticisms from the very start of his time at Hearts fully vindicated eh and it was a total 'cock up' by Levein himself who now appears to be 'in the frame' to manage the Hearts team (in the interim?)! I'll bet there will be thousands of Hearts fans who will be 'cringing' at this prospect and indeed share Mikey Stewart's view that Levein should seriously consider his own position at HMFC after this 'waste of valuable time' and a league season that has not even started yet while total instability prevails! Celtic players will be 'clasping their hands with glee' and will be looking forward to playing Hearts in their 1st league game of the season at Celtic Park! It could be a record score line if Hearts defence plays so poorly again - they must drop their young CH, Soutar, who was mince v the Pars! One 'saving grace' for the JTs is Celtic are committed to a big CL quali match v Rosenborg tomorrow night but Rodgers still has good back up players who could really 'rip' into Hearts back line.

problem is budge thinks the sun shines out of leveins erse. They will either end up with some rare beast that can work with him.... like Houston or another academy/unproven coach.

That 'cooperative coach' is apparently Jon Daley - all bets on him now blocked and it reeks of Levein's influence and a distinct lack of money or ambition!
