RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (25 April) - Stairs - 25-04-2017

I fear that the usual scrap will happen across the summer - we get linked but don't complete deals quickly and clubs like, now Newcastle, West Ham, Swansea etc will all steal players by being more aggressive in their bidding and offers.

I hate paying over the odds for anyone and would much prefer we sign a few 'hidden gems' - but if we are going to be top 10 next season there has to be some significant signings e.g. players with proven reputations and not just a number of unknowns which we gamble on

I'd like to think The Ox would be interested, but can only see him going to Liverpool, WHam, or Newcastle to be honest.

15/16 - 32 goals in 49 appearances in all competitions.

14/15 - 22 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions.

He wouldn't be my personal choice as our new striker but he does know how to score goals.
