Beefy, not knocking you, as I said, by over and misuse of commendations by managers and their nepotism for their buddies I no longer value them. People know when they have done a good job and just because a faceless boss in an ivory tower with no spine thinks good paperwork is equal too or better than putting your body on the line in the heat of battle (for want of a better term) to save a life, rescue a person from a fire, saving people from sinking ships, tackling armed criminals, pulling people from burning cars etc what value can they have. If I sound bitter I am sorry but I may have valid reasons to be, I have seen colleagues do amazing things and get overlooked for any recognition whilst the bosses pet sneezes up his a##e for a commendation.
One of the most valued principles I have is the sense of fair play ....... which is why I dislike the Premier league, the Champions league, the new academy system etc ... geared around the big boys.
I am not knocking you or any other poster on any forum but somethings do rile my feathers. Anyway beefy have a good evening, I am not a confrontational type person and I enjoy reading your posts. These will be my last words regarding rep points.
