RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - Lord Snooty - 11-03-2015 Michael Vaughan agrees with me that England should get Gillespie in as coach. RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - Chunderbuxton - 11-03-2015 Hello old chap, Afraid I don't agree - losing Dizzy would be the worst possible break for the White Rose. Yours aye, Chunders RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - Lord Snooty - 12-03-2015 I reckon with Colin Graves being the new ECB chairman, this could be a real possibility. Would love him to stay in charge of Yorkshire but he will be an international coach soon, so England ought to get in there sharpish. RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - WakeyTerrier - 12-03-2015 Dizzy is fine where he is. RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - Lord Snooty - 13-03-2015 England v Afghanistan The Afghans are 93-6. Is it too soon to start chanting "easy, easy" yet? 101-7 EASY EASY EASY! RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - Lord Snooty - 13-03-2015 Pissed it! Now we build for the next one, which I think we're hosting. Yes we are, in the summer of 2019. We'll be ace by then. ![]() RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - Lord Snooty - 16-03-2015 Quarter-finals 18 Quarter-final 1, South Africa v Sri Lanka, Sydney (03:30 GMT) 19 Quarter-final 2, Bangladesh v India, Melbourne (03:30 GMT) 20 Quarter-final 3, Australia v Pakistan, Adelaide (03:30 GMT) 21 Quarter-final 4, New Zealand v West Indies, Wellington (01:00 GMT) RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - Lord Snooty - 20-03-2015 Well the three quarter finals so far have been a bit one sided. Will tomorrow's be the same? All deepends on McCullum and Gayle methinks. I reckon the Kiwis will do it though. RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - Lord Snooty - 21-03-2015 And another one sided quarter final. New Zealand hammered the Windies with Martin Guptil scoring a double century. He was a 2nd division cricketer with Derbyshire so why can't any of our 1st division English cricketers play like that? RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - Lord Snooty - 24-03-2015 First Semi-final New Zealand v South Africa, Auckland (01:00 GMT) Scorecard I fancy New Zealand to win this one, but you can never write off South Africa. South Africa (probable) 1 Hashim Amla, 2 Quinton de Kock (wk), 3 Faf du Plessis, 4 AB de Villiers (capt), 5 Rilee Rossouw, 6 David Miller, 7 JP Duminy, 8 Dale Steyn, 9 Vernon Philander/Kyle Abbott, 10 Morne Morkel, 11 Imran Tahir. |
