We do not need another new start, we need stability, we need a manager who is given time to sort out a squad with some quality, some slightly past their best, some that may not make the grade, a squad that he has led to safety twice. Not always pretty but generally effective. We have had to many new starts over the last four years which leads to a mishmash of a squad that does not always gel .....

Not saying that TP is the final answer but he maybe a plateau where we can rest, sort out the wheat from the chafe, put the squad in to a semblance of order and allow our Sir Alex (not saying TP is our Sir Alex, metaphorically speaking of any leader able to achieve the same success) to come in and lead Albion to world dominance or he could implode.

Whilst we are safe I will grin and bear the lows of dour boredom for a short while hoping that a major overhaul will turn our mini metro into an Aston Martin ..........

A post that does not shoot people down or belittle their opinions ...... see we can all play nice for the common good.

We had some good posters on here who voiced there opinion, as apposed to agreeing with the rest, and what happened, well they no longer post having been ridiculed by some members on here who think they own the forum. Not so, we all have our opinions, and if we don't agree with them doesn't mean you should give him collectively a lot of mouth - what would the vicar say! Wink

BBB, a very good post that has hit the nail on the head, we should not be in fighting, we should not be pushing each other off of these forums, not everyone lives local and therefore their only decent Albion contact is with other Baggies ..... the media don't care or cover little ole Albion unless there is a scandal. Let's hope the guys who have stopped posting are still reading and will feel able to contribute again to what was a fantastic site.

Couldn't agree more
We used to have a game every week called the prediction league until a certain poster use to claim every week the rules were unfair. give updates the hour after the game had finished on who had scored what before the genuine people who ran it gave us write ups, designed tables to make things look good had a chance to do that .............
Needless to say because of this the game finished and a couple of the posters who gave there time to help run it are no longer on here........
I wonder why ?

I will be honest I don't join in with this site as all its seems to be is doom and gloom. Your right with the prediction league I used to look forward to it which made me be on here more. It's a shame

Rubbish. This is the mildest Forum I've been on, and that's why I love it so much. Rainbow's been given loads of abuse lately, but so what.
He just happens to be a bit more bitter, but we want a good cross-section, don't we?
I admit I used to get riled by Mousse, but it didn't turn me off the Forum, and I got a kick from running the lying twat down.

Talksaft, it's not the severity of the replies more the repetitive nature of the constant anti TP posts. Every post from some quarters blaming Tone for all the world's ills that puts people off, can that discussion be put to bed until the latter stages of May.

I agree it was a shame that the PL stopped, as I too enjoyed playing it, but again unfortunately some posters thought they had the only opinion worth stating.  Well enough of that, though I should mention I tried to re-instate it again, and no-one was interested.
Still that's enough of that, and now we can concentrate on having a go at TP, the players and each other - much more fun.   Wink
