Richardson and Hump for his assistant makes sense to me. Rumour is JFH was invited by a board member the other night so maybe we are opening the shop window. Only question would be will Cook take his crew with him.
One thing I wont do is envy him. Fratton Park is a total shithole. If they have got some money they could do with spending a few bob on trying to bring the ground up to date, its worse than Hillsborough and that's saying something.

So Paul Cook will be named Portsmouth manager later this week and Chesterfield we announce a new manager this week as well. The names in line for the job are.
Leam Richardson, Ritchie Humphreys, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Dean Saunders, Mark Warburton, Brian Deane, Dean Smith & Keith Hill.

Pretty much. Rumour going around that Cook will be on double the wages at Pompey than he was on at Chesterfield.

Don't go on Bob's Board its very very depressing at the minute.
Portsmouth are going to pay Chesterfield in instalments for Paul Cook, which to me suggests they don't have the money upfront which is quite worrying. This is a club who isn't financially stable and we are letting them pay in instalments like we did with Cardiff for Doyle. Cardiff haven't even paid up in full for Doyle yet. We are like BrightHouse letting other clubs pay hire purchase.

Dean Saunders is favourite for the job. The last three clubs he has managed they all ended up getting relegated. Crawley, Wolves and Doncaster.

To be honest Ill go with whoever Allen and Turner pick .
The manager's since DA has been at the helm haven't done too badly have they ? and he's always stated he wants managers who like to play football the right way so we will just have to wait and see.
