RE: WBA Xmas & New Year Thread - 4evaabaggie - 05-01-2025 Points haul is a little disappointing for the festive period and for the season as a whole. We have turned to many wins into draws, with a bit more attacking intent we could have kept teams on the back foot and brought home the wins. Our points total should be higher and we should be pushing Leeds not looking over our shoulders at Blackburn. That being said, in the circumstances, financially, number of injuries, still thin squad. We are in the mix, we're still competing, only four defeats. We are managerless at still manged to restrict it to one defeat in four. Most of our goals conceded have been of our own making, sitting deep, misplaced passes etc. So I am still happy, king Carlos did us proud, now time to move on and get a new leader and start killing games off. The future is still brighter than two years ago. RE: WBA Xmas & New Year Thread - Blue Baggie - 06-01-2025 The league never lies, we need 2 or 3 new faces. McNair and Dobbins gone. What the hell is Pearce doing waiting for his P45. |
