Southampton 5 down at HT

Next manager to go before Rooney?

Martin sacked. Hope that means we don’t lose DR and then Charles is recalled in January !!

But on the bright side puts pressure on DC to suppport DR in Jan if he wants to keep him.

DR signed a contract not too long ago I believe? Or there's at least a compensation clause in his contract where Southampton would need to pay like Newcastle did for Bruce a week after he joined.

It's been coming. We can't afford to lose Charles but Chalobah and Ingelsson are going to have to step up.

Piggy Walker embarrassed himself last night and imitated his Championship buddies by flopping pathetically.
Absolute state of the game where this is becoming acceptably commonplace. I said it'd happen.

DR currently the favourite on Skybet for the Southampton job.

Someone mentioned another team would have to pay £15m compensation for DR and his coaches.

The compensation is worth nothing it's meaningless with Chansiri in charge but I don't think he'll leave untill the summer when Chansiri throws a hand grenade in with his plans.

Rohl doesn't strike me as the type of person to walk away from projects he starts.

That said, it's not always a managers choice..
If Southampton trigger the clause then negotiations are inevitable. Bigger club. Better infrastructure.
At that point Rohl might be considered a fool to pass it up.

No he doesn't but we don't know what shit he's had to put up with under the clown !

Even if they go down they go straight back up with the parachute money !!! I think it depends alot on his staff what he's put together and how happy he is living in Sheffield although I do believe he's still on his jacks without family so Southampton would be an easier travel option and this is why nobody buys the clown out ...there is no airport nothing everything has to come through Manchester or the est midlands.

There are worse teams but it wouldn't take a great deal for us to become one again.
