RE: Millwall v The Owls SBC Match Thread - peiowl - 31-08-2024 3-0 now. groan. RE: Millwall v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 31-08-2024 3-0 Pathetic RE: Millwall v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 31-08-2024 Another fking mess and of course it's given rather than a foul for the elbow in Ihiekwes face Refs not given the defender the benefit there. 3-0 utter shit Might be in a relegation battle after all. Made Millwall look like world beaters. Piss poor, Rohl better rethink these tactics because it's like watching Xisco ball RE: Millwall v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 31-08-2024 Back to basics for the QPR game, might have to go with a back 5, just to shaw up the defence. Maybe even start the old guard, Palmer and Johnson RE: Millwall v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 31-08-2024 This is difficult to take. 3 dogshit performances in a row where nothing changed despite changing the players. Pathetic. RE: Millwall v The Owls SBC Match Thread - St Charles Owl - 31-08-2024 Danny has work to do over the international break!! For me one of the main issues is that Bannan is completely ineffective, it’s not his fault we conceded the goals, but without him we can’t seem to create anything. That needs fixing even if it means dropping Bannan. Iorfa was missed today, maybe too early for Charles, he will get better and we didn’t use the pace we have. Hate going into an international break with a defeat like that, but the break couldn’t come at a better time with how we have been playing. As for me, I am off to Heathrow now and flying to Italy for a couple of weeks R&R!!!! See you all later!! RE: Millwall v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 31-08-2024 We are already in must win Territory against Qpr at home because after I don't see us picking a point up till maybe October !!! Luton Coventry and bristol away with WBA at home ...we are fluffed !!! RE: Millwall v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 31-08-2024 Can only hope Rohl realises two in midfield isn't working and switches to three. Lowe has to be dropped for Johnson. He's a terrible signing so far. Three performances in a row with little difference between them. We all saw what the problems were, again. It's exhausting going over it repeatedly. Surprised ( not surprised really) their 3rd goal wasn't pulled for a foul as Cooper went in with his elbow on the defender. Ref was weak all game giving Millwall soft fouls and letting fouls go on us. RE: Millwall v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 01-09-2024 My god the goals ffs ..apart from the awful midfield and defense Beadle has won himself a ticket on the bench for me seriously I've said it before Charles is ours play him see how it goes because he can't do no worse than 100 goals against in 3 games beadle! His brother by the way was ball watching the first goal ! Obviously he wasn't ready to play alongside Bannan today or in DrS team ...Drs fault though for picking him over inglesson and thinking since the start of the season he can play bot bot in a 2 midfield ( I hold my f@cki g head in my hands aaaasRrrrrrrggghhhh) RE: Millwall v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 01-09-2024 The first two goals are abysmal. The type of goals were conceding is relegation fodder. The 3rd goal shouldn't have stood. After watching it a few more times you can see Cooper flying in with his elbow raised. It wouldn't be the EFL if they didn't pull something each game. Just a coincidence though... Absolutely unreal how the lino and Ref let that go The ref looked at the Millwall players who waved their arms demanding a goal and he just gave it despite there being foul on the defender. I thought defenders were given the benefit of the doubt in these cases? More EFL stoogery, Thats three games in a row letting players simulate against us without a single yellow card and allowing the goal against us which should be a foul. It's just not a coincidence for the 10th season in a row. Did everyone catch the Millwall player simulating in the box just before they scored the second from the set piece? He wasn't booked for it either same as Leeds or Sunderland players. EFL claimed they were going to punished players caught simulating. It's yet another arbitrarily enforced rule depending on which Club it is. I think people need to know the difference between applying the rules and applying tyhe rules 'fairly and evenly' |
