One thing is for sure. Welch only achieved promotion to officiate EPL because of her sex. Based on last nights performance she shouldn't even be officiating at Championship level.
There's no way on Earth that Byers' card will be rescinded. It's not on the agenda to say that a female ref got something wrong and she will be backed to the hilt even if it's clear that she's called black coloured white
