RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - talkSAFT - 19-01-2015 Couldn't be more ashamed of our display. Shocking. Bring back Irvine. RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 19-01-2015 Feeling more confident now. That penalty miss should take some of the wind out of Everton's sails, and Lescott's got Lukaku so far in his pocket Rom'll have to be surgically removed. It's starting to feel like that game at Anfield two years ago when Liverpool battered us, missed a pen and we won 2-0. RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - Lord Snooty - 19-01-2015 What a twerp. What is Baines thinking of, letting somebody else take a penalty? It beggars belief. Think this could be your night. RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - wba_1996 - 19-01-2015 Very lucky to be going in at 0-0. I expected a defensive shape but this looks like what I'd expect us to set up like to play Real Madrid. It wouldn't be so bad if we had a pacey winger in the squad (been saying for over two years now) or someone who could run with it from midfield for when we do get the chance to counter attack. RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - tidy - 19-01-2015 I'm scared. When Everton eventually do score then I just can't see how we will equalise. I hope this plan works. RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - talkSAFT - 19-01-2015 Highlights so far have been whenever the ball went out of play. RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - Stairs - 19-01-2015 We haven defended well. Got a break with penalty. The team are playing to instruction and we know that we can kick on and attack in the last 10-15 minute if it is still 0-0 by then. Long way to go, but they will be very pleased at half time and TP will be telling how proud he is. They will be pumped up to keep the clean sheet and Nick it. COYB RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - betterthanbaird - 19-01-2015 Reminds me of the 2-0 at Liverpool in Lukaku season when Gerrard had a penalty saved, reminds me a lot. RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - Squirrel Regis - 19-01-2015 Jamie Carragher- it wasn't deliberate handball but it was a penalty ??? Shut your bias Scouse yap you feckin eejit ! What a numpty what the hell are sky doing employing that kind of clueless numpty ???? If it wasn't deliberate how is it a penalty under any FA rules apart from bias Scouse ... Grrrrr RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 19-01-2015 Those replays of Mirallas and the other Everton players at the penalty are pretty damning. These guys are at each others' throats. Really hope we get at them and unsettle them second half. |
