Yup - tonight could be embarrassing; if Sheffield Utd can slice us apart almost at will I dread to think what MC's forward line will do.
Maybe they'll all have a real off day and give up at 6

(and I don't mean o'clock)

Albion kick off at 8pm.........
8.10pm, 8.20pm, 8.43pm, 9pm (maybe),
9.15pm, 9.20pm, 9.30pm and 9.35pm.

We've bought some dross over the years, but really nothing as bad as Grant, offers f$#k all!!
Him and Sawyers are not even up to league 1 standard. Yes it's Man City, but that just means you have try harder and put a shift in, and at the very least try and earn your over inflated salary. Go down trying not with a whimper.

Good old Amazon prime

Not that bad so far
Very defensive
Who would have predicted 1-1 at half time

The team selected today is more closely resembling what I think is our best side.

4 at the back, 3 in the centre of the park, full backs playing at full back.

And as such we haven't been massacred as I expected we would be. Not rocket science is it?

Personally would prefer Ivanovic in front of Saywers, in a defensive midfield role, as he's more defensively aware and would offer that extra threat from set plays. I don't think any of those 3 midfielders have any defensive awareness, hence the lack of tracking for their goal. I do think Ivanovic could do a job in that role.

We will struggle to see out another 45 minutes as the lads are having to do so much running without any of the ball. But at least this disciplined performance has kept us in the game this far. When you stay in the game this long, anything can happen. At least it doesn't look like we will be embarrassed.
